564pp: Cortazar's brilliant novel (and maze) which may be read sequentially from start to near-finish at Chapter 56 as a 'normal' book, or read in another sequence (tagged by numbers at the end of each chapter), or indeed at random. The first 56 chapters constitute the main story in one fashion or another; the supplementary chapters (which Cortazar termed "expendable chapters") begin at 57 (to 155). A fine copy in a dustjacket which shows a bit of shelfwear. Previous owner's bookplate present. A (stated) first printing copy. Fine.
Good.
