cloth.
40pp: A copy of the second US edition: there was an unauthorized edition in 1918, then the same year an authorized edition by Huebsch (reprinted in 1923). It marked the appearance of Joyce's poetry at a major publishing house in the US. [A flypage after the title states that this is "the only American edition of "Chamber Music" that is authorized by Mr Joyce" -- ignoring Huebsch's printings, perhaps because that contract had lapsed?). The present copy shows its age, with dust-soiling of the covers, some small stain marks and one larger water mark stain on the front cover, a small stain on the back cover; overall edge wear.
